Blocked Pop-ups

Some web browsers and/or popup-blocking software may prevent the Asthma Action Plan from being generated. To allow the Plan to open, try the following:

Internet Explorer, Firefox

Blocked pop-ups are indicated by a yellow bar across the top of the webpage.

Google Chrome

Opera

Notification of blocked pop-ups appear in the lower right corner of the screen. Click the notification box to open the action plan window.

Displaying languages correctly

Action Plans may not display correctly if fonts or langage packs for that language are missing from your computer.

Below is a table of how the languages look, compared to how your browser renders them. If a language is not displaying correctly, follow the links to suggested ways to correct the problem.

General tips

All of the above language use the Unicode (UFT-8) character set. In most cases, your browser should automatically select the correct encoding. To check which character set your web browser has chosen, and select UTF-8 if it isn't already set:

You may need to install additional language support from the installation disks of your operating system (for Sinhalese, please see note below). Check the relevent documentation for your computer, or contact your organisation's technical support.

Sinhalese

The Sinhala unicode block is not natively supported in Mac OS X or some versions of Windows, and will not display correctly without additional fonts and/or language packs. A web search will return a number of free and paid sinhalese fonts, including FMBindumathi, sandaru-n and Malithi Web, which are all supported by this Action Plan.

To produce an electronic version of the form, Save or Print to PDF. PDF print drivers are available with most PDF readers.
